










John Ballantine
Founder, Chief Executive Officer
With more than 20 years of management experience in the Internet and computer industries, John Ballantine is an industry expert renowned in eCommerce, software, and online direct marketing.
In 1994, Mr. Ballantine co-founded Online Interactive, Inc. (OLI) and served as its Executive Vice President and later as President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Ballantine led OLI into becoming the largest reseller in the electronic software distribution market. Under his direction, the company signed licensing agreements with over 250 software publishers, including over 3,000 electronic products in less than 3 years. In 1997 while CEO, Mr. Ballantine executed the successful sale of Online Interactive to MicroWarehouse, Inc. After the sale, Mr. Ballantine remained President of the Seattle operation, and was a Vice President at MicroWarehouse.
Prior to the sale of OLI, John led the OLI Senior Management team and the Board of Directors through a corporate restructuring which resulted in the spin-off of a division of OLI called FreeShop.com, which was also started in 2004. He served 9 years (1994-2003) in management, as a board member, and Board Chairman of Aptimus (formerly Freeshop). Mr. Ballantine was instrumental in leading Aptimus (APTM) to a successful IPO in 1999, where it remains a publicly traded direct marketing company.
From 1991 to 1994, Mr. Ballantine served as Vice President of Softdisk Publishing, where he started the worlds first Electronic Software Download Store and managed online shopping applications with America Online, CompuServe, Prodigy and GEnie.
Mark Noblitt
Chief Technology Officer
With more than 12 years of technology management and design experience in the Internet and mobile computer industries, Mark Noblitt is an industry expert in building high volume and highly distributed ecommerce and direct marketing systems.
Mr. Noblitt started his technology career working at Online Interactive (OLI) as their Senior Database Architect and Web Master. After the sale of OLI to Micro warehouse in 1997, Mr. Noblitt joined the new spin off company, Freeshop.com (later becoming Aptimus).
Mr. Noblitt,VP of Technology for Aptimus, designed and built their custom Microsoft based ecommerce system handling the third highest daily transactions on the web of over 400,000 orders per day, behind only Amazon and Ebay (according to Duetche Bank research), and by far the largest built on Microsoft platforms at the time. Mr. Noblitt led the companies technology group reporting to the CEO through its successful IPO in 1998 (NASDAQ:APTM) building a staff of over 40 technology experts.
Mr. Noblitt has served on Akamai Technologies (AKAM) technical advisory board helping provide direction on product strategy for the eCommerce sector from 1998-2000. Mr. Noblitt has also held advisory board positions with multiple companies included Ubarter.COM (sold in 2000) & Blue Plate Networks.
After Leaving Aptimus at the end of 1999 Mr. Noblitt founded Edgerender INC. Serving as both CEO and Chief Architect, Edgerender designed and built offline CRM applications for both Laptop and Mobile devices.
In 2003 Noblitt joined Pacific Edge Software as Senior Business Consultant and Solutions Architect. While at Pacific Edge, Noblitt provided business consulting and custom application development for Portfolio Management and SOX compliance for many Fortune 500 companies including Chevron, Starbucks, Lowes, Cisco, Johnson & Johnson and McDonalds.
Mr. Noblitt has spent the past two years as Director of Web Development for Celebrate Express (BDAY) an $87MM per year Party Supply Manufacturer, Cataloger and ecommerce company.
